Family Business Boot Camp
The Family Enterprise Center is hosting a 4-week boot camp to get students up to speed on "what is a family/private business". The goal is to allow students interested in the Family Business Club or Family Enterprise Center curriculum become more comfortable with the concepts, content and community before being introduced to a more formal learning environment.

Sonoco Products Company is an American provider of diversified consumer packaging, industrial products, protective packaging, and packaging supply chain services and the world's largest producer of composite cans, tubes, and cores headquartered in South Carolina. CEO Howard Coker will be tuning in virtually to share his experience as a family member running a formerly private and family-run company gone public. Other SONOCO family members will be joining in-person, and dinner will be provided.

Join the Family Enterprise Center at the Kenan Flagler Business School as we welcome a panel of students, alumni and their families to share insights on their family business journeys and their time at Carolina. We will also be joined by Andrew Boysen, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship as he leads a presentation on core concepts of corporate strategy, including geographic scope, product expansion, and acquisitions, applied to a small family business context.
