Join Andrew and Sarah Olsen of Times Review Media Group to learn more about how their family business has continued to grow and adapt in an ever-changing media environment.
Andrew Olsen is the CEO and publisher of Times Review Media Group and the past president of the New York Press Association. Over the past two decades Times Review has won countless awards at both the national and state levels. He is a past member of Vistage, a CEO peer group, and has been featured in Forbes and Editor & Publisher. Times Review has been featured in a case study for “Saving Community Journalism” through the University of North Carolina journalism school. Andrew is a member of Rotary International, the Cutchogue Fire Department, Orient Yacht Club and North Fork Country Club. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond.
Sarah Gustavson Olsen is a second generation owner of Times Review Media Group, a portfolio of community news and lifestyle brands that cover the North Fork, Hamptons and Shelter Island on the eastern portion of Long Island, NY. Sarah joined Times Review in 2001 and has been focused on transforming the company from legacy print to a fully digitized platform, including an event division. Prior to joining Times Review, Sarah worked in New York City in public relations, design and for Food & Wine Magazine, a division of American Express publishing. Sarah graduated from Boston University’s College of Communication with a degree in journalism.
Andrew and Sarah have two college age children – Tyler is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Emma is a sophomore at UCLA.
