Strengthening Your Sibling/Cousin Partnership

Join Family Enterprise Center co-founder, Professor Cooper Biersach, and your family business peers to learn ways to strengthen your sibling or cousin partnership.
**To maintain the highly interactive nature of this program, attendance is limited.
These interactive learning sessions will provide siblings or cousins an opportunity to:
- Step back from the day-to-day business to think strategically about the future
- Examine shared ownership purpose and goals
- Identify areas that need more clarity or greater alignment
- Unearth different perspectives
- Learn how to reap the best of two seemingly opposing points of view
- Explore how ownership priorities and goals affect business strategy
- Build relationships with other sibling/cousin groups
- Commit to actionable next steps
This peer learning experience will be helpful for both siblings/cousins who work together in the business, as well as siblings/cousins who are owners, but not all employed in the business.
These sessions are designed for next generation leaders and at least 2 people, but no more than 5, per family should plan to register.
When: 3 Mondays – April 7, 21, and May 5 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm ET

Highlights of this learning experience include:
- Guest Speaker: Durant Bell, UNC ‘02, G2, Vice Chairman, Bell Partners, Greensboro, NC. Durant and his brother, Jon, have worked together in their family firm for 19 years.
- Faculty: Cooper Biersach, Co-Founder of the Family Enterprise Center
- Exercises designed to help siblings/cousins address critical topics
- Group discussion with sibling/cousin peers.
