About Chris:

Chris serves as President of Maslin Advisory Partners and VP of HR & Organizational Development at Biltmore (5th Gen Family Owned Business). Drawing on nearly two decades of experience, Chris brings real-world insight into the complexities of multi-generational family business leadership. Chris has led initiatives in succession planning, leadership development and org structure optimization. His work as an objective, non-family executive has helped guide generational transitions, build high-performing teams, and align family and business goals with a legacy perspective. He has consulted with numerous family enterprises and Fortune 500 companies, and is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC), a distinction held by the top 5% of coaches worldwide. Outside of work, Chris serves on several nonprofit boards and enjoys exploring the mountains of North Carolina with his family and their dog, Penny Waffles.
