A new podcast from the Family Enterprise Center!
We’re excited to launch Family Business Matters—a podcast that brings real stories and practical wisdom from the world of family enterprise. Created by the Family Enterprise Center, this series dives deep into the unique challenges, transitions, and triumphs of family-owned businesses across generations.
The Family Enterprise Center was proud to honor our second year MBA students and our undergraduate seniors last week at our annual Spring Graduation Lunch, where students who took both of our Family Business classes in their Carolina tenure received Family Business Focus certificates.

Nearly 20 years ago, Bill was instrumental in helping launch the Center by advocating for the establishment of family business curriculum in Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Family Business Club students joined Director Lauren Willets and Assistant Director Chesney Maniaci for visits to two incredible family-owned businesses in Salisbury, NC.
Josh Gentine (MBA ’13) was born into one of America’s most successful family businesses. Now he’s helping other families thrive professionally and personally.
